Naomi Seibt – A Young Climate Realist from Germany
Naomi Seibt is a nineteen year old climate change realist from Münster, Germany. She is extraordinarily knowledgeable about climate science and articulate in both German and English.
She started a YouTube channel in May 2019. In December she gave a short presentation at the non-governmental COP25 conference in Madrid, Spain. The Heartland Institute then stepped in to promote her and raise her profile.
She has been interviewed by Sky News Australia, RT Television as well at the Daily Telegraph where she said, “I think it’s wrong we let people like Greta Thunberg – who is a young girl, who has no scientific or economic experience – or politicians or celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, talk about a scientific topic.
She was interviewed on Good Morning Britain where Piers Morgan asked here “Do you believe the planet is heating up at a dangerous rate?” She responded correctly, that it is not. Piers Morgan contradicted her and later had to admit he had been wrong and apologized.
Seibt says that “climate change alarmism, at its very core, is a despicably anti-human ideology” which contrasts with Greta Thunberg’s message.
She is adamant that she is not a “climate change denier”, a term that upsets her. “The climate has always been changing, and so it’s ridiculous to say we deny climate change,” Seibt says. “Man vastly overestimates his power if he thinks he can, with CO2 emissions, destroy the climate.”
Already, she is caught in the propaganda battle and her entry in Wikipedia is broadly derogatory and starts with a lie, “Naomi Seibt (born 18 August 2000) is a German climate change denier.”
